Kilkenny and Carlow Education Training Board as lead partner of Music Generation Carlow (MGC) and Music Generation Kilkenny (MGKK) wishes to recruit suitably qualified/experienced musician educators to add to a panel to deliver the following programme strands:
Traditional Irish Music Concertina Specialist Uilleann Pipe Specialist Bodhrán Specialist Button Accordion Specialist Traditional Irish Flute Specialist All Traditional Irish instrumentalists/Singers Ensemble Leader/Arranger | Contemporary Music Guitar Specialist across genres & styles Song-writing specialist across genres & styles Rap/Hip hop Music Specialist DJ’ing Specialist Pop/Rock Instrumentalists |
Early Years Music Early Years Music | Classical Classical Strings Specialist Classical Flute Specialist Piano/Keyboard Specialist - multi-genre Brass/Wind specialists |
Vocal Vocal Musician Educators/Ensemble Leaders. (Classical, Musical Theatre and Pop/Rock vocalists) |
Musician educators will work with children and young people to deliver small group/large group performance music education in community/classroom contexts and may work on one or more programmes at any given time. Applicants must be available to deliver tuition across multiple programme settings.
